Dog on a Tuckerbox by Cullyn Beckton

22 of Oct- 24th of Oct About: Dog on a Tuckerbox' is a coming-of-age work set in mid-90's rural Australia. In the small town of Gundegai, New South Wales, we follow Mikey Windsor, a 17-year-old girl too modern for the average Australian. One day Mikey has an encounter with the bizarre as she comes into contact with a genuine UFO. Mere days later a new girl, Amelia, joins her school. To Mikey this cannot be a simple coincidence. We then watch as two girls so alien to this world grow alongside one another and challenge each other to become better people. This play combines realism and absurdism to tell a touching story about change.
