Antiwear
I love fashion. But I hate how difficult it is to find clothes that feel like you, and how we’re constantly encouraged to buy more, then throw them away. So I thought, fuck it. I’ll make my own shit. What started as dissatisfaction with the industry became an opportunity to take matters into my own hands and make clothes on my own terms. But this isn’t just about buying something sustainable and believing it’s the solution. It’s also about questioning the system itself: Why does the industry treat clothing as disposable? Why are we taught to consume instead of create? Who decides what’s in, and why should we follow it? And how does this affect us? Antiwear is my way of challenging the things I find frustrating about the fashion industry. I give second-hand garments, fabric offcuts, and deadstock a new lease on life while experimenting with silhouettes, designs, and more sustainable ways to bring my own ideas to life. My goal is to create and share personal, versatile pieces that encourage individuality over trends, reduce waste, and inspire people to wear, rework, and make things their own for years to come. Because fuck big corporations. Support independent creativity. Become an independent creator.
